Jellyfish strengthens media leadership with Seun Odeneye as Chief Media Officer

Odeneye will drive AI-enabled innovation and scale impact across the EMEA Media practice

Global digital marketing business Jellyfish, part of The Brandtech Group, has appointed Seun Odeneye as Chief Media Officer EMEA. The key hire marks a decisive step in Jellyfish’s ambition to build EMEA’s first truly agentic media practice, bringing media, strategy, investment, and content together under one AI-native proposition across the region.

Odeneye brings a broad, 360-degree perspective on the industry, built over a 20-year career spanning media, technology, performance, and investment. He joins from senior leadership roles across IPG Mediabrands, most recently as Managing Director, Investment, where he delivered innovative media solutions that maximised client investment and ROI.

Before that, he served as Managing Director, Media at KINESSO UK&I, IPG’s tech-driven performance marketing agency, where he led a 350+ strong division spanning search, social, addressable, and performance. Earlier career milestones include key roles at Mindshare and Microsoft, where he spent nearly a decade, rising to Head of the Microsoft Performance Network and Mobile Strategy Lead for the UK.

Seun Odeneye, Chief Media Officer EMEA, Jellyfish, said:

“When Natasha approached me about the EMEA Chief Media Officer role, I had long admired how The Brandtech Group and Jellyfish help brands show up authentically across paid and earned channels. In a landscape where AI is increasingly shaping brand perception, media isn’t a silo anymore – it’s the connective tissue between insight and impact.
