Cengage, the higher education business of global edtech company Cengage Group, unveiled its new Introduction to Artificial Intelligence: A Business Perspective. This timely release pairs MindTap learning tools with new innovative artificial intelligence (AI)-powered video assignments to spark foundational AI literacy and equip students with the skills needed to thrive in an AI-driven workforce.

According to the Cengage Group 2025 Graduate Employability Report, just half (51%) of recent graduates believed they had sufficient AI skills for all the jobs they applied for. And findings from the “AI in Education” research series show nearly all higher education instructors (92%) and students (83%) agree that incorporating AI literacy into courses is important. Further, many students (84%) believe proficiency in AI skills will be critical for future employment. This first-to-market product meets a growing demand for AI literacy, giving students early access to accessible, relevant concepts that build confidence and support workforce readiness.
