New Generation Home Pro Inc Shares Census Permit Counts for 1,839 New Conroe Single-Family Homes in 2025

Single-family permits in Conroe fell about 11 percent in 2025 while units in buildings of five or more fell to 6 from 328. New Generation Home Pro Inc explains what Conroe homeowners can settle before choosing an alarm, camera or automation system.

CONROE, TX – November 4, 2026 – New Generation Home Pro Inc, a security system installer on Beach Walk Boulevard in Conroe, is sharing U.S. Census Bureau building permit figures for the city, along with guidance for homeowners and business owners comparing security systems for new and existing properties.

Conroe’s figures are drawn from the 2024 and 2025 annual city entries in the Census Bureau’s Building Permits Survey, where local permit offices report each new privately owned housing unit they approve.

New Homes Authorized in Conroe

Single-family permits in Conroe fell about 11 percent in 2025. The city approved 1,839 such homes, with a reported construction value of about $494 million, down from 2,069 single-family homes valued at about $597 million in 2024.

Counting all building types, the city authorized 1,893 new housing units in 2025, compared with 2,425 in 2024. Most of the difference came from apartment buildings. In 2024 the city authorized 328 units in 39 buildings with five or more units, while 2025 had six such units in one building. Units in two-unit buildings rose to 48 from 24.

A permit marks approval to build. Some of the homes counted for 2025 may not yet be standing.

Start With an Onsite Evaluation

New Generation Home Pro carries out an onsite evaluation of a property’s security needs before installation. According to the company, its installers inspect each property so the plan accounts for the entry points and weak spots of that specific home or building.

Alarms, Cameras or Both

The company’s security work falls into a few groups. Its home alarm systems use sensors placed at entry points, and the company says its built-in systems do not need a phone line to reach its team. It installs security cameras and video surveillance for homes and businesses. Its automation and Control4 work lets owners run lights, locks and other devices from one system, and the company says systems can be operated from a smartphone. It also provides AV services. For commercial properties, its Conroe page lists access control and commercial fire alarm installation, along with repair work.

Questions to Settle Before Installation

Buyers comparing alarm companies can ask whether a system needs a landline or runs on a cellular or internet connection, which parts can be controlled from a phone, and what a quote includes. They can ask whether monitoring is part of the proposal or a separate decision and get the terms in writing. New Generation Home Pro recommends asking any security company for a comprehensive estimate and a security evaluation before choosing one.
