Medtech giant with Morrisville presence lowers sales forecast as it cuts jobs

CHARLOTTE – Align Technology, a global medical device firm with a regional headquarters in Morrisville, has lowered its annual sales forecast amid a round of local layoffs.

During an earnings call, executives at Align, which developed the Invisalign dental brand – said the business is seeing weaker demand than anticipated.

Company officials also referenced efforts to reduce Align’s headcount.
